"Not all who wander are lost..." |
Welcome to the Starship Hood! We are a Ranger-class Cruiser exploring the galaxy in the year 2257. This is about eight years before Captain Kirk begins his 'five year mission' and we encourage you to read about our setting to learn who our friends and enemies are, as well as what technology is available. Below you can also learn about our crew and current mission as well as contact information and a schedule for our sim.
The Hood is now accepting players for our Bridge, Engineering, and Science departments.
Feel free to review our Crew Roster as well as our Guidelines. If you think Hood is right for you, Contact Us!

Having made personal enemies of most of the Kzinti Patriarchy, the Hood is encouraged to "Go avay!" for awhile and go explore something.
While flying in deep space we receive a strange subspace signal. Could it be a ship in distress? A new civilization? Telemarketers? The Hood rushes over to find out!
The USS Hood is a live simulation, similar to a role-playing game. We are very proud of our eleven year history as well as our outstanding crew and hope you enjoyed your time reading about us.
We meet every Thursday at 10 PM Eastern in AIM Room: Celestial Prime. You do need AIM to participate, but it's free and can be downloaded here.
We keep copies of our logs and general announcements on the Starsheep Hood Yahoo Group. Go there for the latest information about our sim!
